Размытый шрифт на экране Windows 8.1

У меня появился новый рабочий товарищ:) Lenovo Ideapad Y510P.

В общем ноутбук отменный, но как-то не сразу бросилось в глаза, что в Intellij Idea шрифт какой-то размытый, потом пригляделся и в бругих программах тоже самое. Читать такой текст трудно и неприятно.

Поискал в Google, оказалось, что это известная проблема Windows 8.1.

Дело оказалось в том, что Microsoft добавили изменения в систему DPI Scaling. Новая функция позволяет автоматически применять один уровень DPI ко всем подключенным экранам, НО эта функция отключена по умолчанию. Она-то нам и нужна.

Вот как ее включить:

    1. Правой кнопкой мыши нажмите на экране (desktop), выберите Screen resolution.

    2. Теперь нажмите на линк "Make text and other items larger or smaller".

    3. В новом окне Display, поставьте галочк напротив "Let me choose one scaling level         for all my displays".
    4. Нажмите Apply.
    5. Теперь перезагрузите компьтер.

Мне это помогло, буду рад, если еще кому-то пригодится :)
 
UPD: Тоже самое и после обнавления на Windows 10.

Правый клик на десктоп --> Display Settings --> Advanced Display Settings --> Advanced sizing of text and other items --> Set a custom scaling level --> Scale to this percentage of normal size --> 100%

The Victory.

Today, on 9th of May, is the Great Victory, the victory over the nazi's Germany in 1945. So many terrible stories I've heard about this war as a child at school, even more I've learned later and in fact still learn more. A quite common story of the war time that I heard from someone: the Soviet troops were moving through a city from one position to another. The soldiers are exhausted, starving, wounded. A lady, not older than 30, was standing at the sidewalk as a young soldier turns at her and says: "Oh, mother, give a piece of bread." Mother... How old must have been that soldier, if he called a 30 years old woman "mother". She runs into her house, takes a piece of bread, probably the last piece that the family has and brings it to the soldier. But when she came up to him, she found him dead, sitting beneath a tree.

I try to understand how could people of several countries just in a few moments turn into beasts and do so much evil, and I cannot.
I want to thank all the people that struggled against the nazi plague. You are the real heroes. You didn't think about yourselves, you protected your countries, your future, our present. Thank you.
